Double Boiled Ginko Nut Chicken
Ingredients

whole free range chicken
cleaned
cup
½large green onion
cut into 1 1/2” lengths
3
slices
ginger
cup
½shelled and peeled ginko nuts
water to cover chicken
salt
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a clay pot with a tight-fitting lid.
Place pot in a large steamer and steam over medium-high heat for 4 hours.
Season to taste with salt before serving.
